We provide clients a free search tool (UFED Reader) if the client prefers to conduct basic searches of the phone image in-house. In some cases, advanced data recovery is necessary for certain types of apps such as recovering chat messages from lesser know chat platforms.

Laptops, Workstations, and Servers. Fee discounted if we are called to image more than three hard-drives per service call.

Remote collections $500 per data point (workstation, laptop, server hard drive, desktop) plus cost of media.

Our extraction preserves vital metadata which is valuable for admissibility purposes and allows for advanced search techniques. Civil clients must usually obtain a court order for the subject’s login information.
Forensic preservation of cloud-based data (e.g. Egnyte, DropBox) is billed $450 per account plus cost of media. We preserve vital metadata during the extraction process which is more effective than simple copy and paste operations.

Once the data has been recovered in human readable format, the the investigators perform much of the basic keyword research.
